This experiment was taking a part of self-initiated brief of my MA dissertation. The aim of it was to create knowledge through practice and collaborate on the development and interrogration of Communication Design as a field. It was independently experimental and bring rigour in craft to the future of media without becoming subsumed by technology. We were asked to see and think critically and therefore be compelled to make and act purposefully. This means coming prepared to every teaching session with new work in progress and questions / ideas related to where you want to take things next.
I am interesting in ornament and pattern so I decided to take the use of Kaleidoscope to be as the first step of the journey. Kaleidoscope technique seems to be an interesting way to explore and understand how pattern works. In terms of no limited to the regular point of view and shows unlimited possibilities of deconstruction and reconstruction of forms. It also provides the sense of illusion and reputation regarding to human perception.
